Procreate watercolor tutorial - watermelon

Materials

Open the KJ-Watercolor_Studio#4 paper add a few layers under the paper and effects layer.
Using the Main brush, I use a dark green and draw a slightly curved shape and then use a neon green just above it.
Choose the color hues of reds, pinks and oranges to fill in a melon slice shape. Draw streaky and wobbly lines leaving a lot of white space, in the white spaces using the splatter blush with reds, oranges and yellows varying the colors.
We then need to use the smudge brush feature using the wet brush to create the watercolor effect, keeping the watercolor edge intact.
Now with the AN splatter blush add some texture to the painting and then use the smudge wet brush to certain places on the page.
To add the details of the seeds use the wet brush with a dark color and use the procreate pencil to add highlights.
Lastly using the splatter brush randomly scatter some dots of greens and pinks.
